We called in for coffee and hot chocolate, and the atmosphere was so lovely we stayed for a bite to eat. Coeliac and lactose free requirements catered to, and checked back, which was very reassuring. The chowder was piping hot and delicious; the king prawns (shell on) in garlic and chilli with dipping bread were sweet and tasty; the chunky chips sides were very nice indeed! Amazing service, great menu to choose from, fabulous atmosphere and delicious food. We will most certainly call again.

Top quality pub/restaurant in a superb location. Friendly staff, great menu, lovely food and ona sunny day the raised deck was sensational. Very narrow road, so approach with caution.

This is up there with one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Everyone loved their dishes, but there was definite food envy once they saw (and tasted) mine. Please, please bring it back on the menu! Love this place!

Visited this afternoon for a late lunch after receiving a recommendation from a dog walker this morning! I honestly can’t fault the place. Lovely food, great friendly staff and lovely atmosphere and views of the beach. I had the fish and chips and there was plenty of it. I ordered the chicken, rice and veg for my dog and he ate it all, followed by dog friendly ice cream. I’ll definitely be visiting again if I’m in the area. Well done to the entire team.

After going to a sister Pub 'The Oyster Catcher' we had to go to this place and we weren't disappointed with the atmosphere, drinks and food. The staff were very friendly and helpful, our pooch even had great service with a barrel of water with loads of water bowls to choose from. At to top it all he was given a couple of treats. If you want a great time in an amazing location overlooking the sea with your pooch then this is your place to visit.

A location to die for to have a meal. Booking is optional, we were walked ins. Sat on the sun drenched terrace. There is a spacious bar/lounge as well as a garden. Ample free parking, but it can get busy, as it was on the Sunday lunch time when we visited. Good range of Bragdy Conwy ales on draught as well as lagers, ciders and Guinness - we chose the Beachcomber, which was expertly served by Will who was able to provide verbal tasting notes. There is a good variety of zero and low alcohol drinks in bottles. Menus are on the tables. Attract a member of the 'nomadic' staff and they will take your order for food as well as drinks. The pickled muscles were a perfect palate preparer for our group of three, to be followed by Sea Bass, Fish Pie and Chicken Caesar Salad. Beautifully cooked, presented and served by Ellen and Abby. Despite being busy our food appeared quickly and was hot enough. To eat with extensive views down the west coast of Anglesey over the small cove of Borthwen, on over Newborough Warren to the Welsh 3000s of Snowdonia, Lleyn Peninsular and over a glittering blue sea is something I shall treasure for a long time. The pub is well- behaved-dog friendly.
